Our family expanded to 4 on August 5th at 834am! We are so thrilled! Here is a rundown of events and some pictures!!
We checked into the hospital at 6am, and immediately, the experience was smoother and easier than our first delivery. We met the doctors and anesthesiologist (we had mutual friends), then we walked into the delivery room and I was given a spinal. It took immediately and I had no problems. Travis was escorted in and the procedure took less than 20 minutes until we had our precious son Mason!! He was pink and crying. It was a precious moment. Travis got to hold him quickly and while they stitched me up, I was watching them and got to kiss him multiple times. It was pure bliss compared to Bridgette's birth! :)
He quickly nursed, then we introduced him to Bridgette. She was in awe of him. She kept her eyes on him and smiled and patted him. She kept saying, "Hello Brother, little eyes, little ears, little toes...etc." You get the picture. She would kiss him then smile great big!
Then everyone else got to come in and meet our sweet addition. It was just wonderful to have everyone together, for me to be AWAKE haha, and our baby to be peaceful with no distress. More later! Here are some pictures!!
