Thanksgiving
Bridgette celebrated her 2nd Thanksgiving with her very large Bailey/Buda family! WE sure missed the Fawvers and the Marley Grandparents, though!
Here are a few pics for you!
Bridgette is learning so quickly-there are so many words she can say. She follows simple commands. Some of her favorite words are: tickle, hat, puppies, mommy, daddy, baby, up, all done, milk, bite-bites, no!...the list goes on and on. She probably regularly says around 50 words. I really love how she has conversations with herself- as if she makes complete sense to the rest of us :)
She carries around her baby dolls everywhere- she is such a good mommy!!

11 MONTHS OLD
Oh my gosh time is passing so fast!
Here are a few things this little angel is so good at doing:
* Can take 4-5 steps on her own, but cruises EVERYWHERE if someone will hold onto her
*Walked around saying "Guk, kak-kak" translation "Duck! Quack, quack!" yesterday after a visit to the Ftn City Duck Pond--too cute!
*Signs for milk when she wants some
*Points to her toes, nose, mouth, head when you ask
*Recognizes the words "dog, cat, wave, toes"
*Says mama, dada, ball, baby, bye-bye, and many other unrecognized words haha!
*Has the most infectious and beautiful laugh I have ever heard! :)
*LOVES table food and will rarely let us feed her! She loves to feed herself- what a big girl!
She is so smart and sweet! I love her so much!

Some video for you
Bridgette has just started walking while pushing her toys! She is loving the ability to get around when she wants.
She is also standing on her own- but doesn't like to find out that she isn't being supported! haha. She is growing up very quickly! Starts Mother's Day Out Preschool at our church the 31st!
Here are a couple videos to enjoy.

3rd Anniversary at BLACKBERRY FARM!!!
Travis and I have been married 3 blessed years and 2 days today! To surprise me for our anniversary, Travis arranged 2 nights at Blackberry Farm! In the husband category, this is the equivalent of "going to the front of the line" in grade school- in other words, major score. I was blown away! It was absolutely blissful. We stayed in a beautiful cottage in the woods, were catered to day and night, had our own golf cart to travel around the property in! Nothing short of luxury--have I mentioned the AMAZING food?
The only caveat? It was my first night away from Bridgette! She was fortunate to spend the evening with Grammy Kay, Papaw Billy, and Aunt Momo--and the rest of Newport from what I hear. It was quite an event! She did really well...Mommy did well too! I really missed her, but it was so nice to just be with my true love for an entire night! Bridgette did join us on the farm later, but that was after a couple of gourmet meals and a couple of massages that were heavenly!
When Bridgette arrived, we were really excited for her to see the working farm. She saw Chickens, cows, cats, dogs, roosters, sheep, horses, and butterflies! She was most excited at the horses! She also had gourmet freshly made baby food (although Daddy swears she always eats gourmet food :).
I suppose we missed the real world, so we came home earlier today. It was such a lovely treat! Can't wait to go back next year! ;) HINT HINT DADDY ;)

Asheville fun
Our little family returned from Asheville this weekend and had the most wonderful time! Bridgette was a perfect traveler--sleeping all night long and playing all day long! Grammy Kay spent the first night with us at Biltmore Residences (amazing place to stay), then Grandpa Marty and GB stayed the last two nights. We visited Belle Chere, the Grove Park Spa, and many wonderful eateries. If you have never eaten at the Laughing Seed Cafe- you are really missing out!
Bridgette is learning so many things- she is a sponge. She signs for "Milk" when she is hungry, she waves "bye bye", she grabs her toes when we read her book that mentions her toes. She really is an amazing baby. She plays peek a boo a lot and really giggles when she is hiding from you. She loves to act silly! She babbles all the time. Then she reaches for that left hand and sucks her thumb when she gets upset or tired. Precious. She gets soooo excited to see the pugs- thinks they are the greatest!
When we got home, Grammy Nina and Pawpaw Marshall were waiting on us--they can't wait to play with Bridgie and WHO could blame them?? We spent a few days together playing and looking for them a suitable place to call HOME here in East TN! WOOHOO!
I am just so happy and thankful for our sweet little family! Bridgette is getting so big. 9 mo old pictures tomorrow! Can't wait to post some of them!!!!

teething....
Most of you know we had a wonderful trip to Kansas City and Kirksville! We got to see family and friends! Here are a few pics!
Well let the fun begin! Bridgette is getting her first teeth- yes TWO at a time! She is a little bit more fussy than usual, but nothing too terrible. Still sleeping, thank goodness! :)
Her bottom front teeth are coming in and she is biting everything!
As usual she is an absolute doll. I love her very much! She is really getting into everything. Her favorite place to crawl is ONTO the treadmill!

She is chewing on EVERYTHING in site, including Mommy's purse and Daddy's ear haha. She also met Aunt Kimmie and Cousin Noah today. I'll post some pics today and some more later!

FAWVER DAY
Our family just hosted it's 1st annual FAWVER DAY! This will be held on the 1st Saturday of June every year and we will celebrate being Fawvers outside in nature! We had a wonderful day yesterday and our family celebrated with us! We started a few new traditions: monkey bread at breakfast. YUMMY!
We then went to picnic at Greenbriar near Gatlinburg. It was the most beautiful day. :) Bridgette saw her first butterfly and was so fascinated. We were accompanied by Grammy Kay, Papaw Billy, Grammy Nina, PawPaw Marshall, Aunt Malerie, Grandmother Pat and Granddaddy Bill. It was so special to Travis, Bridgette, and me.
Then we headed out for the aquarium where we met up with Grandpa Marty and GB (Diane) and Jeff Foster. Bridgette was so excited about the fish--she was really wild!
Afterwards we went to Best Italian- seriously the best! Aunt Momo (who just graduated from high school last night as valedictorian!)joined us! Bridgette entertained EVERYONE there! It was hilarious...check her out.
Well, finally we all pooped out...well actually Bri stayed up until 10pm! She has NEVER done that--she was really wound up! What a wonderful day!

Bridgette goes to the zoo!
A dear friend from childhood invited Bridgette and me to a day at the zoo! Bridgette really enjoyed it! She especially loved the larger animals like the elephant and the camel! She was such a good girl. Naomi and her son Elijah were so fun to hang out with- they were great tour guides! :) Thanks for the fun!
